  • ​Alejandro L. Sioli graduated as an Industrial Engineer from Buenos Aires University.
  • He later furthered his education with a M.A. degree in Business Administration from IAE – Business School. In 1996, he traveled to Spain where he attended a Ph.D. Program in Business Administration at IESE, Navarra University. In 1998, he was visiting professor at Michigan University, USA.
  • He is LAHRP (Latin American Human Resources Partnership) Academic Director, consortium made up by leading firms, the University of Michigan Business School and IAE Management and Business School. He is currently leading a joint research project on HR Competencies with Michigan University, USA, as Regional Project Partner.

Professional Experience

  • His professional experience in management began in 1979 as Technical and Commercial Manager for DURLOCK S.A.. In 1986, he became the General Manager of RINGER S.A. (local Northern Telecom representative). Since 1988, he has been full-time Professor in the Human Resources area at IAE – Business School, Argentina.
  • Prof. Alejandro Sioli has taught in every program delivered at IAE – Business School, namely Top Management, Management Improvement, MBA, and In-Company Programs. He has also lectured at several courses and seminars for various companies, banks and academic institutions.
  • As a consultant in Human Resources, he has focused on change process implementation and follow-up –HR Strategy Design, Organizational Change processes, Work Team Development, and other related topics- for a wide variety of companies, such as Repsol YPF, Boehringer Ingelheim, Volkswagen, Banco Santander Río, Coca Cola, Turner Broadcasting Systems, Wal-Mart, Telecom, Telefónica, Assist Card, Syngenta, Schneider Electric, Mercedes Benz, Techint, Banco de Boston, 3 M y SAT México.
  • His management responsibilities at IAE involve managing the HR area and coordinating the Executive Training Program. He has also served as Director of the Small and Medium-Sized Business and Management Development Programs.
