Tomas Farchi is an Assistant Professor in the Organizational Behaviour Department at IAE Business School. In addition to his position at IAE, Tomas is a Visiting Scholar at University of Oxford and a recipient of a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR, UK) grant to study novel forms of knowledge coordination in biomedical research centres. His research also examines the nature of expert knowledge and its problematic appropriation from users in large and heterogeneous professional groups.

Tomas earned both his PhD in Management and his MSc in Management Research (Distinction) from University of Oxford; his MBA (Magna cum Laude) from IAE Business School; and his Licentiate Degree in Communications (Distinction) from Universidad Austral. His professional experience includes project leading in Aja Espil y Asociados (affiliated to Hill & Knowlton Inc), CETECO, and CCR Market Research. As part of his research, Tomas has closely worked with the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement; the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR); the Oxford, Cambridge and UCL Biomedical Research Centres; and the Oxford University Hospitals. His research has been funded among others by the NIHR and the Rosemary Stewart Scholarships. Findings from his research have been published or accepted for publication in leading international outlets such as the 'Journal of Product Innovation Management', and 'The International Journal of Innovation Management'.
